When Jeff told me about his idea of founding this web site,
I wanted to join his team. I thought this would be a great
opportunity for me, to make new friends all over the world.
It would also be a great chance to show and tell them about
my country and culture. You see I love travelling, making
friends on the internet and meeting them in real life too.
I always think that when you are in a foreign country it would
be nice to have a friend to show you around. Try to be a local
for a day, it is better than being a visitor for a month !!!

| Most
memorable meetURplanet.com travel experience: |
Oh….it's really hard to decide on which one is my most memorable
travel experience, every trip is memorable to me. The hosts
I have met are all great hosts. Thanks to them, I have had the
chance to ski for the first time in my life on a snowy mountain
in Lake Tahoe, saw snow falling from the sky and almost turned
myself into a snowman haha. I also walked on a beautiful beach
in Hawaii with fish swimming around my legs. |

Hong Kong will always be my favourite city, it is where I was
born and raised. The city is full of excitement. You can take
a walk along the waterfront and watch the harbour or take a
tram up to the Peak and view the concrete forest from a high
point. You'll be amazed at how a city covering such a small
area, can have a population of more than 6,000,000. Hong Kong
is a city of latest technology but at the same time you can
find traces of old history at the fishing village in Tai O or
villages in the New Territories. If you hop on a train you can
visit Mainland China in just an hour. |

Enjoy yourself while you can, cause you never know what tomorrow
shall bring. |
| Some
comments from Jeff on Chrissy |
What can I say about Chrissy? She is a super host, a lovely
person and a special friend. I first met her on a trip to Hong
Kong in October 1999. Over the next week she proceeded to show
me parts of Hong Kong I never knew existed, a real locals' perspective.
Her knowledge of Asia, people skills, organisational abilities
and love of travel make her a natural for the team. |
