May 17-18: Finally I arrive into Brisbane!
After what seemed like an eternity I finally arrived into Brisbane-Australia after leaving Taipei-Taiwan one day ago. This was my first trip to Oz and I was looking forward to it :)

To cut a long story short basically my trip to Italy was cancelled at the last minute and so I switched to Australia! I needed some help at such short notice, yelled out to my friend Jeff in Toowoomba and before I knew it he was picking me up in Brisbane.

We headed back to his town Toowoomba for the Saturday, before returning to Brisbane (Sunday) and commencing the journey. Enjoy the photo's below.

To help locate where my adventure was here's a map. I landed into Brisbane and we would end up driving to Sydney and back to Brisbane (2000kms) before I left!!

We drove from Brisbane back to Jeff's town (Toowoomba) for the Saturday (17th). Here's a photo in the town centre.

It's now Sunday (18th) and we are in Brisbane at the Lone Pine Zoo with to me at least-its star attraction, "The Koala"!!!

Ahh I am in heaven! A photo of me (Jen) and a cuddly koala :)

I can now show my Koala photo to one of the other "residents" of the Zoo- Mr Kangaroo!
