out a registration form and create a profile. The demographic
information collected to create your profile is non-identifying
and is used by other members when searching or browsing the

Here you can also change or delete whatever information you
wish. Remember the only personal information we have about you

During the joining process you provide us with your email address
as a point of contact. Periodically we will send you relevant
information about site developments, new and ongoing member
benefits, contests and exclusive promotions. This is also the
address we will use when you request support or assistance from
us. As a member you can request to be removed from any of our
mailing lists at anytime. Whenever we send a mailout to our
members there are specific instructions in the email on how
to unsubscribe. Mailouts may include meetURplanet.com member
newsletters, member activity emails, or other services. Alternatively
visiting "Edit Your Account" in the "Members" page allows you
to change mailing options.
MeetURplanet.com will not under any circumstances sell or release
any personally identifying information regarding its members
to an external organisation.

We may use demographic information from the site, which is then
aggregated into broad groups (such as the number of members
in the 20-24 age group etc), for the purpose of attracting relevant
advertisements or promotions. This is a statistical procedure

MeetURplanet.com logs your IP address (Internet Protocol address
which is usually a temporary 12 digit number assigned by your
internet provider when you log in) for administration purposes
only. IP addresses are logged to track a user's session. This
information is analysed in aggregate allowing us to identify
trends such as the most popular areas of the site and the times
of most site activity. It also allows us to diagnose problems
with our server.
While a user's session is tracked, the user remains anonymous,
as we do not link the IP address to anything personally identifiable.
The information we obtain though, assists us greatly in continuing
to refine and improve both the sites functionality and our service
to you. |
MeetURplanet.com uses cookies, a feature of your internet web
browser. Our website sends a cookie to your computer, which
is then stored in a file on your hard drive. On your next visit
to our website the information stored in the cookie file facilitates
