I'm here because I have met great people like Jeff! LOL. I love
Jeff's idea of firstly initiating this project, and secondly
for trying to align people from all over the world. His vision,
would allow us to share our passion and enthusiasm about travelling
and to also participate in cultural exchanges. MeetURplanet.com
enables us to give as much assistance as possible to people
from anywhere on this planet, regardless of their nationality
or race and to truly experience the 'global village' spirit.

| Most
memorable meetURplanet.com travel experience: |
There are too many great experiences to single out just one!
So here's a few of mine.
My first experience was being hosted by two German girls, one
from the ex-West Germany and another from ex-East Germany. They
were both very nice girls around the same age as me. I remember
being truly impressed by their hospitality and friendliness
and they treated me as if I was a family member. Their help
really allowed me to experience the daily life of their small
town. I really miss them still.
My 'Venezia' (Venice) friend is someone that deserves a big,
big kiss. She is more mature than me and has now become a very
good friend of mine. We've met twice now, with both encounters
being really wonderful. She treats me just like her daughter!
My most impressive, and powerful meetURplanet experience was
meeting the host who ultimately became my boyfriend. From our
meeting in Italy, a relationship flourished! He's now just moved
to Hong Kong to start his new life with me. These past experiences
of mine really inspire me a lot. Just imagine that these people
do not have to treat you as they do, it's purely out of the
goodwill of their heart. These are truly the global people!
So let's all start with ourselves and try to help the people
of this planet. |
While it's a love-hate relationship haha, my home town Hong
Kong is still my favourite city. I love its energy and excitement
but sometimes I get tired of the crowded conditions and the
pace of life here. In spite of the good and bad points, it's
my home city and where I see all my opportunities.
Venezia (Venice) - This is surely another of my favourite cities!
I have had many great experiences here, both with my boyfriend
Ale, and also my Venezia friend, Marina. An unforgettable and
wonderful place!
Borgo San Dalmazzo - While it's only a little town in the northern
part of Italy, its truly a place where you can have the quintessential
"Italian town" experience. Combine the people, the architecture,
the small little alleyways and of course the great food, and
you have a very Italian, very relaxing time! |

| Some
comments from Jeff on Viv |
I first met Viv in September 1999 on the net. We soon found
we both had a common love of travel and experiencing other cultures.
I mentioned I was travelling to her city Hong Kong soon and
she offered to help me when I was there.
I remember her exact words, " I can feel that's its real nice
when you are in a foreign place, being hosted by local friends
".
Viv had the passion, the right personal qualities, a vast knowledge
of Asia, marketing abilities, not to mention her language skills
(fluent in English, Cantonese, and German for a start). Then
and there I decided I wanted her in the team! |
