Why
am I here? I think it comes from my curiosity towards all
that is around me. I believe we live on a great big planet
that is full of diversity. I feel our world is made by the
people who live on it, therefore to know this world is to
communicate with and meet its people.
That's how I naturally got to have pen pals and e-pals from
many different parts of the world, people who I have kept
in touch with for many years now and who have become real
friends. It was a way to practice and improve my English,
too. Recently, I have had the chance to visit some of these
friends in the US and in Australia and also to host and guide
friends from South Korea, Australia and Hong Kong in my city
of Paris. These experiences have been fantastic, I thoroughly
recommend you try them.
Then, my meeting with Jeff did the rest! It was surprising
to see how we share this same passion of knowing and helping
people from all over the world.
I realised his idea of this site makes very concrete and effective
what I've always only had a feeling about. Being involved
in this business is finally also an excellent opportunity
to apply and increase my marketing experiences and to develop
my interest in the Internet. It just gathers so many of my
likes! I hope it will gather yours too.
So what are you waiting for? Enjoy this site and meetURplanet!

| Most
memorable meetURplanet.com travel experience: |
There are many stories I could tell you here. Like, you know,
I had always wished to go to an American campus. This dream
recently came true, thanks to my American friend/host! I've
been able to attend various interesting classes at the University
of Iowa…and I even ended up as the main subject of a business
French class!
Hmmm, I will also always remember when my Korean friends sang
such a lovely song for me, making a perfect three voice canon;
it was in a nice park nearby the Notre-Dame cathedral…unforgettable!

I just can't choose, it would be torture! I love all the places
I have visited for very different reasons, but especially because
of the people I have met there. It is the people that always
makes it far more meaningful!
Brisbane surely is special to me. I've been very impressed by
its modernisation, the way it's been included into Australia's
beautiful wild nature and by the cool atmosphere that prevails
there.
Chicago shouldn't disappoint anyone as it just appears like
the idea you have of it. Its' traditional pizzas and cheesecakes
must be tasted, they are simply delicious!
The Mediterranean charms appear in the architecture of Madrid,
Venice is a unique place…I could go on for a long time…
Finally, I always feel I am a tourist when I take the time to
look around Paris, which is surprising, as it's supposed to
be one of the most familiar places to me. |

Among so many other ones…"There's always something new to learn!" |
| Some
comments from Jeff on Xavier |
I first met Xavier in Australia in December 1999 through a mutual
friend. To my surprise less than one month later I found myself
in Paris being hosted around by Xavier! I knew then that if
I could get this business off the ground, Xavier had to be part
of the team.
He had the right mix of personal qualities I admire, a thorough
knowledge of Europe (having lived there all his life), marketing
skills, internet experience and most importantly a genuine love
of people. |
